One of my greatest pleasures in life is photography. My heartfelt mission as a photographer is to bring your love, joy and good work into focus. My happy place is outdoors amongst the spenders of nature but I also love working on location and in the studio. Regardless of the setting, here at KSP, my team and I are honored to be there for you when it matters most.

We believe each image should be a masterpiece in the making and each session should infuse majestic and/or meaningful location(s) with styled poses and candid action shots of your passions and interests whenever possible.

During these connections, our goal is to build the foundation for working together and customize our services to match your needs and budgets. We'll go over what to wear, how to prepare, where to meet and hash out all the details of your session. Follow up reminders and support will keep us on the same page throughout the pre-session process.

Our laid-back personable charm will help you feel comfortable in front of the camera whether you hate to have your photo taken or are a natural poser. Wanting to create exceptional experiences, we've know we succeeded when you tell us how much fun you how incredible the images look.

Handcrafted Works of Art

We understand that no one is happy unless they look their best! Back at the studio, we select the worthy images (no limits on #'s) to be expertly edited to what we call "Practically Perfect" status. Plus, most sessions include your top favorites to be retouched with even more perfection and handcrafted creativity. It is also important to note that you will obtain full print and usage rights to use the images as you wish. But wait, it doesn't stop there. We will work with you to create gallery styled wall art, custom photo books, cards, and announcements, in addition to designing fresh, new content for your feeds and promotions!

Lasting relationships do not happen overnight! They are nurtured over time. Our ultimate achievement though, is when after years of working together and building a long-lasting friendship, we have reached your go-to-photographer in life status. The Story Behind the Lens

My love for photography started at 5 years old, sitting on my grandfather's lap reading a National Geographic magazine. I was unexpectedly propelled into strange cultures and mystical places. Then, as a young teenager, my HS teacher, Miss Graham, inspired me to fall in love with black and white photography. I felt at home in the darkroom, developing, printing and creating. Consumed with a passion for the photographic world, I went to RIT for college. After graduating with a Photo Management degree, and a stroke of luck, I landed in Boulder, CO.

I found myself, in love, once again. This time with the mountains of Colorado. After a few years of enjoying the splendors of my twenties, I decided to earn a MS in Environmental Education from the Audubon Expedition Institute.

I came back to CO, and over the next decade or so, I directed camps, outdoor education classes, adventure trips, photography courses and led sustainability programs for businesses; always, working on the side as a freelance photographer. I was young. Sleep was optional then.

In 2014, at age 44, I finally took the leap of faith and launched KSP as my full-time profession. To say that I have found my calling is an understatement. Being able to surround myself with people's memories filled with love, joy and good deeds is a constant blessing. I feel honored to do what I love, spend a ton of time outside, and be there when it matters most in people's lives.
